Kid Friendly Pumpkin Lattes
/We all know that fall is PSL season. My kids asked “What's a PSL?,” so I had to explain the tradition of the Pumpkin Spice Latte for my SoCal little rascals. We then created a special drink with a twist on the classic PSL. For my boys, I removed the coffee and added in marshmallow with the classic pumpkin flavor. Toasted marshmallow and pumpkin spice create a creamy autumn beverage that kids of all ages can enjoy.
Ingredients
1 cup milk
1 tbsp. pure pumpkin purée
¼ tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 tbsp. sugar - or to taste
1 tsp. vanilla extract
¼ cup marshmallow fluff
Instructions
In a small saucepan, add the milk, pumpkin purée, pumpkin pie spice and sugar.
Heat over medium heat until hot, whisking frequently. Do not let it come to a boil. Remove from heat.
Add the vanilla.
Spoon the marshmallow fluff on top.
Sprinkle with a little more pumpkin pie spice. Serve immediately!
